Hotel Nordic

Dear Nordic Hotel Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with the service we received during our recent check-in at your hotel. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory due to the behavior of the receptionist. Upon arrival, the receptionist was notably unfriendly and rude. She explained that she was alone and overworked, and she made it clear that she had no time for any discussion. While we understand that staffing issues can arise, the manner in which this was communicated was unprofessional and discourteous. Additionally, we were informed that we needed to pay extra for our 4-year-old child, which in itself was not an issue. However, the way this information was conveyed was aggressive and unwelcoming. We have never experienced such poor service in any hotel, and it left a very negative impression on us. Due to this unpleasant encounter, we have decided to seek accommodation elsewhere where we can expect a more friendly and respectful service. Wonderful food. Buffet had different choices each night. Comfortable room. Adventure trip organiser was very helpful, told us about best attractions to visit. Lovely garden over looking ski slope. Staff very friendly. Good laundry facilities.

Its our third visit as there are few hotels on the granvillara pistes and this one has a swimming pool and bowling alley with evening entertaiment. Rooms are warm comfortable but small with only two english channels on the tv but free wi fi from the bar if you choose a room prefixed 2.There is no kettle and the two pegs behind the door will not take your jacket so take your own coat hanger as theirs do not come of the rail.Breakfast and dinner are excellent and buffet style ensuring a swift exit to the piste or bar where the prices are very reasonable ,cana of beer Euro 2.80 wine by the bottle euro 12.20.The nordic ski shop is next door and our ski hire arranged by andorra travel service was 70 pounds each for the week The ski lockers are included in the room hire and activated by your room entry card but are unheated so you must take your boots to your room All the staff were friendly and helpful except one member

The staff that run the horse riding where some of the most unhelpful and rude I've ever seen. I don't know if they're employed directly by the hotel or just a partner business, but we paid at the hotel reception and it's located right behind the hotel, so the hotel have very low customer service standards.

Hotel was perfect location for the mountain with a 4 man lift outside and gondola a 5 minute walk. The hotel was clean and beds made everyday. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, something for everyone. Nice pool and games room for the kids. A couple of local places nearby but not much to chose for apres ski.

Best location in Andorra. Perfect for skiers. The rooms with a view to the slopes are top! There's a free car park just next to it. Very friendly staff (it's a plus to have workers from all around the world). The rooms are a bit dated (equal to 10 yeas ago at least). The food is good (buffet) but the deserts ane not that special. Positive: staff, location, balcony with a wonderful view, ski in/out. Negative: dated rooms (also you can hear all the noises from the surrounding rooms), noise from cleaners in the lobby start at 7 am (vacum cleaner and talking loud), there's no food service at the bar after 4.30 pm. As for El Tarter there's simply nothing to do apres-ski (lack of bars, dinings, shops, places to hang out). Just a hint: most costumers are spanish, portuguese and french so don't understand why the staff starts talking in english....
